Join Acts Housing on Wednesday, September 14 for an open house-style, casual, family-friendly evening as we celebrate the more than 3,214 families we’ve helped purchase homes over these last 26 years.
Admission Wristbands
General Admission wristbands for this event are:
- $50 per adult
- $20 per youth (ages 12 and under)
Your wristband not only grants you access to this private event, but also includes all the food available from the local food truck vendors as well as two complimentary beverages (alcoholic or N/A).
And the best part? Ticket proceeds benefit Acts Housing. A good deal for a good cause!
Reserved VIP Patio Tables
Want to guarantee a first floor patio table is available for you at any point in the night and deepen your support for Acts Mission? Reserve a table:
- $1,000 per reserved VIP table for 4
- $1,500 per reserved VIP table for 6
Your reserved table includes general admission and all the perks that come with it as described above.

Will this event take place inside or outside?
Both! This event will take place rain or shine! In the event of rain or snow (this is Wisconsin), the Mecca can comfortably fit everyone indoors and a portion of the Beer Garden is also covered.

How can I purchase tickets to the event?
All wristbands for the event can be purchased here.
What does my wristband include?
Your wristband includes admission to the private event, food from every food truck in attendance, and two complimentary beverage tickets (alcoholic or N/A drinks). Child
beverage tickets cannot be redeemed for alcoholic beverages. Additional drinks can be purchased onsite from Mecca Sports Bar and Grill.
All monies raised from the sale of tickets will benefit Acts Housing.
Is my ticket purchase tax-deductible?
Yes! A portion of your ticket(s) is tax deductible. If you choose to make a donation beyond the cost of your ticket(s), the additional donation is 100% tax deductible too. You will receive a tax letter via email with confirmation of your ticket purchase noting the tax deductible amount.
Can I buy my tickets with cryptocurrency?
All wristbands must be purchased through the website listed above with a credit card or debit card. No Bitcoin, Dogecoin, NFTs, foreign currency, etc., accepted. If you wish to purchase your ticket with a check, please contact us directly to arrange this.
Can I buy tickets onsite at the Deer District?
In the event that the Longest Neighborhood Table does not sell out, a limited number of wristbands will be available for purchase at the host stand inside the Mecca.
Do I need to bring cash?
All event activities at the event will be free with your ticket purchase. Additional beverages beyond your two complimentary drink tickets can be purchased through The Mecca via cash, credit, or debit card.
What COVID-19 health and safety precautions will you be taking during the event?
We are not requiring staff and guests to show a vaccination card or to wear masks while attending the event. If you wish to wear a mask on site, you are more than welcome to. This event will take place both inside and outside to accommodate all comfort levels. If you’re not feeling well or have any symptoms of COVID-19, please stay home. If you were recently in close contact with someone who is sick, please stay home while you watch for symptoms. Thank you for keeping our guests safe and healthy!
Will I be able to leave and return to the event?
Yes! Your wristband will be your admission to the event. So long as you have a wristband, you are welcome to come and go as you please to this open-house style event.
I forgot/lost my wristbands. Can I still come?
Please see our staff at the host stand inside The Mecca to resolve this issue. You will need to show your receipt of purchase.
I’m not comfortable donating online. How else may I donate to Acts Housing?

What is the dress code?
There is no dress code for this event. Leave your formal wear at home and wear whatever you’re most comfortable in.
What is your refund policy if I am not able to attend?
Because this is technically a fundraiser, all ticket revenue will be donated directly to Acts Housing. Therefore, tickets are non-refundable. Please feel free to pass along your wristband to a friend, colleague, neighbor, or family member.
I have a food allergy; what kind of food options will be available?
Flour Girl & Flame, Good City Brewing, Goody Gourmet, Lola’s Empanadas, Pedro’s South American Food, and Pete’s Pops. Gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, and vegan options will also be available.
What time should I arrive? What is the format of the event?
The event is an open house, so feel free to stop by any time between 4pm and 8pm. There will be no formal program, but plenty of opportunities to learn more about Acts Housing throughout the evening.
There is no formal program?!? What will I do at the event?!?
There will be a variety of family-friendly activities on site from house bingo and dancing to yard games and special guests. This is also an opportunity to meet and mingle with Acts Housing staff, supporters of affordable housing, and families who have previously purchased a home with Acts!
