Antonia had always wanted her own place to call home. When her daughter told her about a new non-profit in Beloit that helped people become homeowners, she knew this was her chance! She called the same day!
Antonia is a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. Family means everything to her. She has spent the last number of years floating from one home to another within her immediate family, between Beloit and Chicago. Although she has enjoyed many magical family moments with her adult children and young grandchildren, she yearned for a place of her own.
When Antonia entered the Acts program, she quickly realized that the pre-approval process may be challenging for her since she had a limited income of her own. However, with the generous help of her family and the savviness of our Acts Realtor, she found the perfect home that could be purchased in cash, without the need of a loan.
Antonia closed on her new home in late October 2020, and is excited to get started with the home rehab process with the help of her 3 sons who are contractors. She is committed to working through the Winter months to be able to enjoy her new home in the Spring. She is confident that she’ll be able to move in to her newly rehabbed home by March 2021. We’ll be here every step of the way!
